An East Bay Municipal Water District water pipeline replacement project will be got underway this week and is affecting residents on La Questa Drive, El Rincon Road, Via Hermosa, Hermosa Court and Buena Vista Drive in Danville.

From 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. crews are excavating and installing a new water main, working from intersection to intersection.

Traffic into and out of the neighborhood could see minor delays, with traffic control provided.

In addition, brief interruptions of water service can be expected as connections are made to the new main.
