Injured Hiker Rescued Near Danville: VIDEO
The hiker was lifted 80 feet into the air by a helicopter and flown to a waiting ambulance. SEE FOOTAGE of the rescue.

DANVILLE, CA — An injured hiker was rescued near Danville Friday and hoisted to safety by a California Highway Patrol helicopter.
The injured hiker called 911 for help and was located in Las Trampas Regional Park with some help from the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District and CHP, according to the district.
San Ramon Valley firefighters were lowered to the hiker, who was then lifted 80 feet into the air and taken to a San Ramon Valley Fire ambulance for treatment and assessment.
