It's Time To Make Reservations For Santa Photos: Broadway Plaza
With social-distancing rules, there will be no sitting on Santa's lap. But book soon, as time slots may fill quickly.
WALNUT CREEK, CA — Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek has opened online reservations for visits and photos with Santa — with time slots available for 20 days from Dec. 4-24.
Pandemic-related safety measures will be in place, and Santa Claus will have his temperature checked prior to each shift, organizers said.
"An increased focus on disinfecting and sanitation, including the addition of hand sanitizer in high traffic areas" will be implemented, according to Cherry Hill Programs, the events company.

Face coverings will be required, and there will be no sitting on Santa's lap this year.
"It is our top priority to ensure the health and well-being of our guests and Santa, therefore, this year, guests will not sit on Santa’s lap during their interaction, but will still have the opportunity to engage in conversation and a magical experience with Santa, while maintaining physical distance," the company said.
