Kiss the Toad Creations Drapes Capes on Moore, OK

Barbara Casados of Kiss the Toad Creations and some friends traveled to Moore, OK last weekend to brighten the spirits of the children impacted by the deadly tornado that ravaged the city in May.

With help from the San Ramon Valley community, Kiss the Toad Creations made hundreds of capes for the children of Moore and started handing them out Saturday.

Two days after the event, children in Moore were seen with their capes around town, said Gretchen Hunt of Kiss the Toad Creations.

Here is how Casados described the trip to Moore:

We had a great time in OK, and got some amazing testimonials from the school, the parents, and especially the little superhero's. The children were adorable and loved the capes, so much that a few of them were caught wearing them to the store the following day. The parents told us that the capes really empowered their little ones and that the kids don't want to take them off.
