'Lucky To Be Her Mom': Mother's Day Photos

DANVILLE, CA — Whether it's through their personality, looks, hobbies or a combination of everything, daughters become a reflection of the woman who raised them. With Mother's Day 2018 right around the corner, we are celebrating that special bond by inviting Patch readers across California to share their "mother-daughter lookalike" photos. Danville resident Juliet Reece shared this gorgeous photo of her with her daughter Makenna taken while visiting the annual Skagit Valley Tulip festival in Mount Vernon, Washington.

"Everyone tells me Makenna is my mini me! She has many of my same mannerisms as well. My daughter has a heart of gold, I’m very lucky to be her mom!"
