McGah's Pub & Pianos In Danville Sold To Tommy T's Owners
But don't spend even a wee bit o' time frettin' that there will be no St. Patrick's Day fest this year. There will be!

DANVILLE, CA — After close to a decade in downtown Danville, it's nearly "last call" for McGah's Pub & Pianos.
The popular restaurant and sports bar, known for its lively, dueling-piano nights, was sold to the owners of Tommy T's Comedy Club in Pleasanton.
The transition to the new operators will be finalized within the next two weeks, but the name "McGah's" will remain through this year's St. Patrick's Day festivities, said manager Michael Ioannou. After that, the eatery on East Prospect Avenue will be "Players Pub & Pianos."

And McGah's will live up to its customary St. Paddy's reputation hosting an outdoor party, complete with a band and DJ, Ioannou said.
McGah's proprietors held an "official" farewell party Saturday to mark the "end of an era," according to the pub's Facebook page.

"While McGah's has sold, the new owner does plan on maintaining this establishment as a sport and dueling-piano bar!" it said. "We hope everyone will show the new owner the same amount of love that we have felt from everyone over the last nine-and-a-half years!"
