Memorial For Beloved Danville Musician Killed In Crash
Family and friends will gather together to remember Keith Leung, who died after his Tesla crashed into a pond in May.

DANVILLE, CA — A memorial service is planned this weekend in Oakland for a Danville man who died after crashing into a Castro Valley pond last month. Keith Ken-Wei Leung, 34, died tragically in a collision on May 20. Leung was a member of the Danville Community Band and a University of California at Berkeley graduate.
The talented musician played a wide range of instruments including the bassoon, clarinet, flute, piccolo, oboe, English horn, all of the saxophones and some violin and cello, according to the band. Friends described him as a “kind soul.”
The memorial will be held at the Mountain View Cemetery in Oakland at 10 a.m. on June 2. Mountain View Cemetery is located at 5000 Piedmont Avenue in Oakland. In lieu of flowers. the family asks donations in be sent in Leung's name to the Danville Community Band, Awesöme Orchestra Collective, Stage 1 Theatre, or music group of your choosing.
