It is with deep regret the VietNam Veterans of Diablo Valley inform our members, friends and supporters of the passing of our good friend - fellow Viet Nam Veteran member - Prisoner of War and Congressional Medal of Honor recipient SGM. JON R. CAVAIANI (U.S. Army-Ret.) (MOH) Jon passed today -- July 29 -- in Stanford, after battling against a prolonged illness, and by his side was his wife, Barbara.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her during this difficult time.
