MODEL TRAIN LAYOUT at Blackhawk Plaza Benefits Toys For Tots

Holiday Fun for the Whole Family

A vast wonderland of operating Model Trains and European countryside is on display this holiday season from November 23rd through January 6th at the Blackhawk Plaza Shopping Center in Danville. The exhibit is open 10-6 Wednesday’s through Sundays. Admission is $5.00 for children and adults. Proceeds from the event benefit the annual Marines Toys for Tots program.

Presented by the European Train Enthusiasts (ETE) club, this remarkable portable exhibit has delighted Bay Area visitors at different venues for more than 25 years. The ETE group has created remarkably detailed scale versions of European landscapes including mountains, villages, bridges, farms, lakes and industries which come alive when they operate their trains though the carefully constructed layout.

Visitors will see a wide selection of locomotives, freight and passenger cars from the various counties of Europe as members of the group operate their trains for the enjoyment of all.
