Monte Vista Wins Tri-Valley Champ Challenge

The Monte Vista High School boys soccer team beat Berkeley 3-0 in the final game of the Tri-Valley Champions Challenge.  

Junior Arman Mogharei's first goal allowed Monte Vista to take control of the game early on.  

Berkeley tried to even out play as they got closer to the half, but Jeff Greenberg's goal just before the halftime whistle brought the score to 2-0.  

Berkeley controlled the ball well, but Arman Mogharei's second goal 4 minutes after halftime enabled Monte Vista to push through.  

Monte Vista won the Tri-Valley Champions Challenge for the second year in a row.
