
The Monte Vista High School boys soccer team beat Berkeley 3-0 in the final game of the Tri-Valley Champions Challenge. Â
Junior Arman Mogharei's first goal allowed Monte Vista to take control of the game early on. Â
Berkeley tried to even out play as they got closer to the half, but Jeff Greenberg's goal just before the halftime whistle brought the score to 2-0. Â
Berkeley controlled the ball well, but Arman Mogharei's second goal 4 minutes after halftime enabled Monte Vista to push through. Â
Monte Vista won the Tri-Valley Champions Challenge for the second year in a row.
