'Party Palooza' For Cancer Patients Kicks Off Across Tri-Valley

TRI-VALLEY, CA — It’s time for the 11th Annual Party Palooza, one of the Tri-Valley’s best parties. Each year from September to December, volunteers and local businesses get together to support the Sandra J. Wing Healing Therapies Foundation by hosting a variety of events to raise money to fund grants for community members who are in treatment for cancer. These grants pay for services that help reduce the side effects of chemo and radiation.

Party Palooza hosts contribute their time, talent, food and supplies so that all guest reservations and contributions may directly benefit the foundation’s work.

In its eleventh year, Party Palooza offers something for everyone. This year includes the return of several popular events — Dinner at Uncle Yu’s at the Vineyard, the 9th annual Sip and Paint night, and the 11th annual Soups of the World. This year will also feature an evening in India that will be full of music and culinary delights, in celebration of Diwali, India’s Festival of Lights.

Looking for something more active? The 7th annual Swing for Cancer Therapies Golf
Tournament at Castlewood is always a great time. If you don’t golf, come later for the afterparty and enjoy a buffet dinner, music, entertainment and auction items.

New this year is a Sip and Shop night at Pleasanton’s new gem, Gypsy Boutique. If sipping wine and enjoying music and small plates is more your style, then come to the Auburn Lounge in Danville where you might find some of your friends volunteering as bartenders and servers and
donating their tips.

Bring the whole family to enjoy opening day at Happy Delights, Pleasanton’s new spot to enjoy vegan creations, exotic fruit juices, smoothies and ice cream.
