Popular Danville Bridal Boutique To Close
"Brides on Hartz is truly a love of ours, we will always cherish the relationships we have built."

DANVILLE, CA — A popular East Bay bridal boutique will soon close. Brides on Hartz, which sells bridal wear and prom gowns, opened in Danville in 2018. Boutique owners Ashleigh Carone and Marissa Clavin told Patch they made the tough decision after struggling during the pandemic.
“When we opened in April of 2018, we set out to be a staple in the community and a place where all were welcome,” Carone said. “We never imagined we would be making this announcement three years later, but we have made the incredibly difficult decision to close our doors. Brides on Hartz is truly a love of ours, we will always cherish the relationships we have built with our brides, mothers, couples, and our amazing vendor community!”
Carone and Clavin met and became friends while working for the Oakland Athletics. They said they knew their love for all things bridal and their similar outlook on business would be the perfect foundation for the vision that eventually grew to be Brides on Hartz.

The duo was known for collecting gently used prom dresses for East Bay Dress Day, which gives the dresses to teenagers in need.
“While we are saddened that our Brides on Hartz journey is ending, we are honored that we were able to be a part of this community and we thank you for trusting us with such important events in your lives,” Carone said. “Our greatest hope is that we were able to provide you with a memorable experience that you will cherish forever. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts, we hope to see you around!”
