Property Fees Would Fund Alamo Springs Projects

Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors will consider approving fees that would fund street projects for the neighborhood near Magee Ranch.

Residents in Danville could feel the pinch from the traditional political debate between more taxes or government services.

The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday will review a proposal to assess residents a fee, which would fund law enforcement, street maintenance, parks, landscaping and funding for street lighting for the unincorporated areas of Alamo Springs.

The staff report suggests that if the fee is not approved then maintenance projects might have to be curtailed, delayed or eliminated.

The meeting is set for 9 a.m. in Martinez.

The complete Board of Supervisors agenda is available on the County Website.
