Arrests Made In Pursuit Through Alamo; San Ramon Thefts
Two people were arrested after officers spotted a car believed to be linked to thefts from cars in San Ramon.
ALAMO, CA — Two men were arrested Thursday morning after a pursuit through Alamo and thefts in San Ramon, the Danville Police Department said.
Michael Gutierrez, 36, of Union City was arrested on suspicion of felony charges related to evading police, hit-and-run and violating probation. Police did not immediately release charges that Carolina McDaniel, 31, of Hayward faced and jail booking records were not available for her.
At 10:40 a.m. officers driving near Danville Boulevard and El Portal spotted a black Lexus thought to be tied to thefts from cars in San Ramon, police said. The driver fled north on Danville Boulevard, initiating a pursuit.

Police said they called off the pursuit as the car headed through Alamo and less than a minute later, police saw the car. It crashed into two other cars on Danville Boulevard and landed on its roof.
Gutierrez suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.

Danville Boulevard near Livorna Road in Alamo was closed Thursday morning as police and fire officials responded to the scene.
