SEE: Blackhawk Plaza Salon Closes After Car Smashes Through Doors

DANVILLE, CA — A car plowed into a popular Danville salon in Blackhawk Plaza late Tuesday morning. Surveillance video shows a Tesla drive through a parking spot before smashing through the glass wall and into the lobby of the Tribez Salon & Blow Dry Bar.

The wreck was reported just after 11 a.m., according to the Pulsepoint phone application. No one in the salon was injured during the crash, according to employees who posted about the incident on the salon's Facebook page.

“I must admit I’ve been quite shaken up, but once I knew everyone was safe, I thanked God! We will rebuild our lobby and that can be fixed,” a salon employee said in the post.

The salon is closed but will likely reopen Friday, according to the business. Clients will use the side entrance to the salon while the lobby is repaired.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the collision.
