SEE: Downtown Danville's 'Hearts Around Hartz' Public Art Exhibit

Bay Area artists decorated 17 heart sculptures that have been placed around downtown Danville.

DANVILLE, CA — Noticed four-foot hearts scattered about downtown Danville? The 17 art installations are part of the town's "Hearts Around Hartz" public art exhibit and will be on display through Oct. 16, the town said.

Each heart is unique and each were designed by different Bay Area artists. Some are a nod to Danville's landscape, featuring oak trees, poppies and Mt. Diablo.

The hearts will be auctioned off over a 10-day period after the exhibit closes, with proceeds benefiting public art projects in the future, the town said.
