Tri-Valley Gets A Taco Bell Cantina: Report
The new Danville location will be a spinoff of the fast food chain, which features reimagined menus and alcoholic drinks.
DANVILLE, CA — Taco Bell Cantina, a revamped version of the famed fast food chain, is planning to open its fifth Bay Area location in Danville, Bay Area News Group reported.
This would be the first such location in Contra Costa County, the paper reported.
The Cantina concept is much different than typical Taco Bell locations. They've got a more upscale vibe and feature unique menu items — still at a lower price than many other dine-in options. Many remain open late, Taco Bell said on its website.

Cantinas also serve alcoholic drinks, such as sangria, Twisted Freezes (an alcoholic spin on Taco Bell's freeze slushies), beer and wine, according to Taco Bell's website.
The price is right for drinks too. At the Taco Bell Cantina in San Jose, beers on tap include Lagunitas, Blue Moon and Modelo, and will cost you $7 for a pint.
