Things to Know in Danville This Week: April 15-21

A list of events and activities scheduled in town this week.

Dance The Argentine Tango

At Blackhawk Plaza at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, show off you dance moves with Argentine Tango lessons that cost only $10.

The dance session starts with open floor at 6 p.m., followed by the beginner's class at 6:30 p.m., the intermediate class at 7:15 p.m. and practice at 8 p.m.

Town Council Meeting

The Danville Town Council will have its bi-monthly meeting at Town Meeting Hall on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. You can see an agenda for this week's meeting here.

What's So Funny? Art Exhibit

If you haven't already, this is the last week to check out the "What's So Funny?" art exhibt at the Village Theatre Art Gallery.

The exhibit has run since March 8 and takes a look at humor from all sides: celebrity cut-outs, ceramics, illustration, found objects, mixed media collage, clay, sculpture and more. Plus, it's free!

Third Annual Earth Day Event

On Satruday at noon, join the Danville Library and Town of Danville to celebrate Earth Day! Gather your friends and family and enjoy a variety of green hands-on activities for adults and children. Celebrate the planet we share with fun and informative activities.
