Traffic Advisory for Downtown Danville

(TOWN RELEASE) -- Motorists are advised to use caution in and around the downtown area this weekend as several streets will be closed for the annual Danville Fall Crafts Festival. 

The following streets will be closed from 2 a.m. Oct. 26, 2013 to 11 p.m. Oct. 27:

• Hartz Ave. from Diablo Rd. to Hartz Way
• School St. from Railroad Ave. to Hartz Ave.
• Church St. from Railroad Ave. to east of Hartz Ave.
• Prospect Ave. from west of Hartz Ave. to Front St. 

The Fall Crafts Festival is a popular downtown event so there will be a lot of pedestrian traffic.  Motorists are asked to be careful on the roads and watch for pedestrians.
