TRAFFIC ALERT: Street and Sidewalk Closures in Danville

The Town of Danville wants to remind residents that work on multiple projects will result in sidewalk and lane closures next week.

DANVILLE, CA- Two ongoing projects in Danville are expected to affect motorists and pedestrians over the next two weeks. In order for the current phase of the projects to complete, work will need to be done which will require some sidewalk and street closures. The closures include:

Sycamore Valley Park Bocce Court Project: Beginning Monday, April 18, 2016, the lower restrooms at the park and portions of the sidewalk will be closed for work on the project. Signs will be posted showing the bypass pedestrians will need to follow to get to the playground area. The upper level restrooms near the soccer fields will remain open. This work is expected to last 10 days.

San Ramon Valley Boulevard Paving Work: Beginning Wednesday, April 20, 2016, San Ramon Valley Boulevard will be down to one lane in each direction between Fountain Springs Road and Jewell Terrace. A flagman will be on site and traffic may be held briefly from time to time. The work will go from 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. from April 20-23, 2016.
