Disabled Big Rig Causes Delays For Danville Commuters
A disabled big rig in the slow lane has commute traffic backed up to Walnut Creek early Monday.
DANVILLE, CA — A disabled big rig prompted the California Highway Patrol to issue a Sig-alert for southbound Interstate 680 north of W. El Pintado in Danville Monday morning. The traffic hazard was reported at about 4:50 a.m. and obstructed the right lane, according to CHP records.
Traffic was backed up to Walnut Creek and drivers were warned that they would likely face delays during the morning commute. The lane has since reopened.
