Village Theatre Hosts Free Documentary Screening
'Forks Over Knives' will be shown in conjunction with 'Pleasing to the Palette', a current art exhibition of forms of media depicting food.

From the Town of Danville: Town of Danville's Village Theatre will be conducting a free feature film screening of the documentary Forks Over Knives on July 27, 2017. The film is being shown in conjunction with Pleasing to the Palette, the current art exhibition in the Art Gallery which features paintings, drawings and sculptures all depicting food.
Forks Over Knives examines the relationship between eating and health, and promotes a low-fat, whole-food, plant-based diet as a means to obtain a healthier lifestyle and avoid diseases. Participants will have a chance to sample a variety of free healthy treats, and participate in a brief discussion on food led by artist and plant-based health coach Rochelle Blank-Zimmer.
The complimentary screening of Forks Over Knives (2011 rated PG, 1 hr 36 mins.) begins at 7:30 p.m at the Village Theatre located at 233 Front Street in Danville.
