Volunteers Needed for Lend-A-Hand Yard Clean Up Day
The Town of Danville is looking for helpers to take on yard clean-ups for those in need after this year's El Nino storms.

DANVILLE, CA- The Town of Danville and local community volunteers join forces to Lend-A-Hand in the community, helping neighbors in need who reside in the Danville local area with their spring yard clean up. The annual spring clean-up day that provides senior citizens no-cost yard cleanup and minor home repairs will be held Saturday, April 30 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Tasks include general yard work, pruning, weeding, mowing, and clean up. Due to the extra rain this year, organizers say they need lots of volunteers.
Volunteers are assigned to a team and the team is assigned to a project. Volunteers should bring gloves, a hat, and lunch. Gardening tools such as pruning shears, loppers and rakes are also recommended.
