'Young @ Art' and Athenian High Create Art Together

TOWN RELEASE

Join Athenian High School students and Athenian Art Instructor, Niki Stefanelli, from the exhibition Perspectives; Life in Cambodia and Vietnam, by creating a unique photo collage from the reproduction of images on display in the Village Theatre Art Gallery on Friday, Nov. 8 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

After a tour of the exhibit, children will meet in the center of the art gallery to select smaller versions of the imagery and create their own unique interpretation of the photographs on display. This is a wonderful mentoring opportunity for younger children to work with High School students and gain insight into the art program offered at Athenian High.

Pre-registration is required to ensure adequate materials are available and is subject to cancellation due to low enrollment. This program is free. To register, visit www.danvillerecguide.com and search for barcode 33936 or call (925) 314-3400.
