13 Drivers Booked for DUI in Yolo County Last Weekend

13 drivers were arrested for driving under the influence during increased Memorial Day patrols in Yolo County last weekend. 

One sobriety checkpoint was deployed in the county and five special DUI saturation patrols were deployed. The following details were provided by the Davis Police Department on Thursday:  

From 12:01 AM Friday, May 24, 2013 through Midnight Monday, May 27, 2013 officers representing 8 Yolo county law enforcement agencies have arrested 13 individuals for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.  During the DUI Checkpoint approximately 150 vehicles passed through. Every driver was contacted and 7 were evaluated for possible impairment. 3 drivers were further evaluated with Standardized Systematic Field Sobriety Tests. No drivers were found to be operating their vehicles while impaired from drugs or alcohol. Three drivers were found to be operating their vehicles on a suspended or revoked driver’s license.
