The city is hosting a discussion about racism in Davis on Saturday, and members of the community are invited to come weigh in.Â
The discussion is "part of several follow-up meetings to the original forum on Breaking the Silence of Racism, which was held on December 1, 2012. The discussion will take place from 10 a.m. to noon in the conference room at City Offices, 23 Russell Boulevard."
According to the City of Davis Human Relations Department:Â
The purpose of the workshop is to continue discussions to examine the issues surrounding racism in Davis and to develop action plans. This is intended to be an open discussion to look for solutions or actions for addressing the issues raised at the December 1 forum. Any member of the public, whether or not you have participated in the past discussions, is invited to join in the conversation on the 18th.Â
