Rocklin, CA — The California Highway Patrol is asking motorists to be on the lookout for the Honda CRV pictured with this article that was allegedly used in two gun heists Wednesday morning.
According to the CHP/Golden Gate division, the black Honda was used in a burglary of two rifles and 20 to 25 handguns that occurred early Wednesday morning at a gun store in Rocklin, and then a second gun store in Folsom.
The license plate is Honda CRV is CA#6VCB742, registered out of Oakland.

According to Bay City News, the Rocklin Armory, a gun shop at 4800 Granite Drive, posted surveillance video of their burglary on its Facebook page, showing a black car smashing repeatedly into its storefront. According to Rocklin Armory, that burglary happened around 4 a.m.
The CHP believes the Honda may have collision damage from crashing through the storefronts of the gun shops.

Meantime, BCN reports Helen Dunkel, a spokeswoman for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms declined to elaborate on whether a sting operation in East Oakland Wednesday morning near 68th Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard was connected to the Sacramento area gun store burglaries.

According to the CHP, four black male adults in their 20s are suspected in the burglary. Authorities say one of the suspects was wearing a hoodie with the words "Oakland U.S.A." on the front.
The CHP asks that you share the image of the car as investigators attempt to apprehend the suspects.
If anyone has information regarding this crime, or if you spot the suspects or suspect vehicle, the CHP urges you to use extreme caution and dial 9-1-1.
