City Of Davis: Walking With Poles Class Offered In July

Are you interested in taking up walking poles to increase your stamina and continued joy in walking? When used effectively, walking poles enhance uprightness, flexibility, and power. How do you know what is the right length? Where to direct the force? How to coordinate your arms? What about steep terrain? Which should you buy?

These questions will be answered and more at a class offered by the City. Bring any poles you have; loaners will be available by reservation. This class is taught by Jeannette Hogan, Feldenkrais Practitioner. The class is offered on Wednesdays, July 7,14 and 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. for a fee of $39.
