Davis Council Supports Single-Use Plastic Bag Ban

Councilmembers unanimously support the idea to ban the bags.

Next summer, single-use plastic bags may be a thing of the past in Davis. Davis City Councilmembers unanimously approved bringing back an ordinance that would ban single-use plastic bags in Davis, The Davis Enterprise reports. 

The ordinance would affect 475 businesses, according to the Enterprise, and would not ban produce bags used by consumers for produce and meats.
