A Davis man went to jail this morning after allegedly shooting a handgun in the air.
Davis officers went to the area of 1600 block of Drew Circle in response to reports of gunshots hears at 4:30 a.m.Â
The officers found Wei Gin Lee, 20, in the area and determined he shot seven bullets into the air. Officers took Lee into custody and recovered the gun he had allegedly shot.Â
Lee was lodged into the Yolo County Jail on suspicion of felony reckless discharge of a firearm. Police checked surrounding apartments and neighborhoods for anyone who might have been injured or property damaged but nothing was located.
