Davis Police Chief Seeks Applicants For Community Advisory Board
Community members are encouraged to apply, as there are several vacancies on the informal board.

DAVIS, CA — Davis police Chief Darren Pytel on Monday invited community members to apply for several vacancies on the Police Community Advisory Board — CAB — an informal advisory board comprised of members representing the broad Davis community.
Members of CAB are selected by and serve at the will of the police chief, according to a Davis Police Department statement.
"The CAB will serve as a working group of community members that will help the police department review and address the recommendations contained in the Final Report of the President’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing," officials with the Davis PD said.

Community members who would like to apply for a seat on the CAB are asked to send an email to policeadmin@cityofdavis.org. The email should contain their contact information, a short resume and a description of why they would like to serve on the advisory board.
