Davis Police Make 2 'Arrests of Interest' on Sunday
These are "arrests of interest" from over the weekend, according to the Davis Police Department.

The Davis Police Department said on their Facebook page Monday that two noteworthy arrests were made in Davis over the weekend. The first involved a domestic dispute with a knife and the second involved a prowler.
Here are the incidents, in full:Â
- On 01/13/13, at approximately 1600 hours, officers were called to an apartment located at 4500 Alhambra Dr. regarding a physical altercation between and male and female which involved a knife. When officer arrived, both parties were contacted and statements obtained. Due to the evidence located at the scene and the statements from the involved parties as well as a witness, Michael Garcia, 31 years old o/o Lancaster, was arrested for domestic violence, intimidating a witness, terrorist threats, child cruelty, and interfering with a 911 call.
- On 01/13/13, at approximately 2225 hours, Davis Police received a call reporting an unknown subject was in the backyard of a residence in the 200 block of Rice Ln. When officers arrived, a resident was detaining a male subject. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that Eric Hackman, 40 o/o San Francisco, had entered the resident’s backyard. When confronted, Hackman attempted to leave the area but was detained by the resident. The resident reported this to be an on-going issue. Hackman was arrested for prowling. Police are working to determine if Hackman is responsible for the other incidents at that residence.
