Speeding drivers are of concern to residents in all suburban areas where there are many kids, but the situation in Davis is further complicated by the abundance of cyclists.Â
One Patch user emailed us the following last week:Â Just north of Covell, on Catalina, close to the crosswalk connecting green belt paths, speed bumps or even larger speed islands should be added to protect children and adults from drivers of cars who regularly exceed the speed limit and do not stop for pedestrians and cyclists.
