DUI Suspect Crashes Into Davis Store

Police released photos with a reminder for residents to not drive while impaired.

DAVIS, CA – A suspected impaired driver was arrested last week after crashing through an area convenience store in Davis, police said.

No one was hurt in the accident logged at about 2:29 a.m. Wednesday on L Street, the Davis Police Department said.

"Upon arrival, officers suspected the driver was impaired and placed him through field sobriety tests which he performed poorly on," police said adding, that "Please remember that DUI does not always mean just alcohol. Drugs (even legal ones) can impair one’s ability to drive a motor vehicle."
