Elk Grove Parolee Arrested at Del Taco in South Davis

A 23-year-old parolee from Elk Grove was arrested outside the South Davis Del Taco on Saturday. Authorities say the parolee, Nathaniel Macedon, was in possession of a vehicle that had been reported stolen in the Bay Area the previous day. 

"An employee from the Del Taco ... called police stating that a male subject was outside the store asking customers where he could buy narcotics," said the Davis Police Department in a written statement. "When police arrived, they found the subject seated in a vehicle in the parking lot of the business."

A computer check revealed that Macedon was on California Youth Authority parole. He was lodged at Yolo County Jail for possessing a stolen vehicle as well as a parole hold.
