Got Talent? Audition for Citywide Competition

Calling all Davis singers, dancers and other talented dudes and dudettes: The City of Davis is hosting its third annual 'Davis's Got Talent' show December 1.

Auditions will be held Friday, and are open to "area residents of any age with a performing talent," according to the city's website. There's a grand prize of $200 and the chance to perform at next year's Fourth of July celebration.

For those who just want to attend the show, it takes place at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 1, at the Veterans Memorial Theatre. Tickets are $7.00 in advance (available at the Community Services Office at 600 A Street, Armadillo Music, Hallmark Inn and the Avid Reader) or $9.00 at the door.
