Man Accused of Davis Hate Crime May Be Offered a Plea Agreement
The prosecutor and defense attorney of the Mikey Partida beating case may come to a plea agreement. Daniel Garzon, 20, is charged with beating Partida on March 10 outside of a Davis house party.

Back on March 10, Davis came to know of a hate crime involving the brutal beating of Mikey Partida, 32. Prosecutors call it a hate crime and allege that suspect Daniel Garzon, 20, used gay slurs before beating Partida outside a house party.Â

Both the prosecutor or the defense attorney declined to talk about the plea agreement negotiations. According to the Enterprise, Garzon has pleaded not guilty to the charges of assault, battery, criminal threats and the hate crime enhancement.Â
