DAVIS, CA — Following the public memorial service Friday for fallen city of Davis police Officer Natalie Corona, a 40-mile funeral procession from Davis to Arbuckle will take place, including along Interstate 5 north.
The procession is expected to begin at about noon Friday — after the one-hour memorial service— and Davis police, in response to community members wanting to pay their respects along the procession route, provided the below information.
"Many of you have been asking about standing out in support on the Procession route," Davis PD said on its Facebook page. "Natalie loved this community. She loved on every person she came into contact with in our city and she would be honored to have you stand out and support us on our way ... Once again, we are humbled by the outpouring of support and love. We know she would be too."
