Woodland Police officials report that the boy has returned home safe.

WOODLAND, CA- The 13-year-old boy reported missing from Woodland has reportedly returned home safely, according to officials.

"He has been located and is home safe," posted Woodland Police Department on their Facebook page, thanking the community for their enormous social media response.

"This post was shared nearly 1000 times and is a perfect example of how this community is always ready to come together to help when asked," said the post, "Thank you for continuing to assist, it is a perfect example of how this community is always ready to come together to help when asked. Original Report: A 13-year-old boy is missing has been missing from Woodland since Thursday afternoon, and police are asking for help finding him.

The Woodland Police Department posted a photo of Angel Fierro on social media at 4:30 a.m. on Friday morning.

According to officials, Fierro was last seen leaving his residence on Maxwell Avenue at about 3:00 p.m. on April 14, heading to Klenhard Park on East Gum Ave.

“It is unknown if he made it to the park and has not returned home,” said officials.

A Yolo dispatcher explained that Amber Alerts require very specific criteria that this situation does not meet, therefore, there will not be a mass alert set out in the area.

Officials ask that anyone with information to contact Woodland Police Department at 530-666-2411.
