Senator Bill Dodd honored Mother and Baby Source named Yolo County Business of the Year.

Mother and Baby Source of Davis is Yolo County Business of the Year
DAVIS -- Nichole and Will Arnold were regular customers of Mother and Baby Source, a longtime Davis maternity store, when they heard in 2016 the business was going up for sale. At the time, the Arnolds had just had their third child and were looking for a way to serve their community. So they contacted their broker and made an offer. Soon, the store founded in 1995 was theirs.
Mother and Baby Source has since become a model for other maternity stores. In addition to selling essentials – from baby shower gifts to nursing bras -- the Arnolds offer classes and support groups for new and expecting parents. The store, located at 714 2nd Street, also features a “Mommy Lounge” with rocking chairs, sofas and changing tables for community use.

“Our family takes incredible pride in the services we are able to provide our youngest neighbors and their parents,” Nichole Arnold said. “We hope our unique services and products can make it all just a little bit easier and more enjoyable.”
For their vision and commitment to their customers, Sen. Bill Dodd, D-Napa, has named Mother and Baby Source the Senate District Three small business of the year for 2018 for Yolo County.
