"COVID brought me closer to the appreciation of the gifts of nature in my own back yard in rural Davis, CA this past year," she wrote. "The iris shows its beauty once a year in my garden and the Anna's Hummingbird keeps me amazed all year long. The many 'I-demand-little-water' plants I have grow with tenacity and remind me to be courageous. Nature's Bounty right in my own back yard."
