Tennis Classes
Davis Recreation is gearing up for its next round of tennis lessons for both youth and adults. 
This is a great opportunity for you or your child to try this amazing Olympic sport!
This beginner class is designed to introduce children to the fun and enjoyable sport of tennis. 
Foam, pressure-less transitional balls and lower nets allow young players a more successful 
and positive experience while hitting and rallying. Tennis balls are provided but children must 
provide their own tennis rackets. There will be no class on November 11 due to the holiday.

CITY OF DAVIS
This is a preparatory class for advanced beginners to immediate level players. Players must
be able to execute all beginning level strokes. Advance beginners receive continued stroke 
instruction with a stress on accuracy while learning about situational play and strategy. Tennis
balls are provided but participants must provide their own tennis rackets. There will be no class

This class is designed for the player with little or no tennis experience. Players will be introduced 
to forehand, backhand, volley and serves. Tennis balls are provided but participants must 
provide their own tennis rackets. There will be no class on November 11 due to the holiday.
