By The Yolo County Sheriff’s Office
This morning, the body of a deceased Chihuahua was found in the passenger compartment of a vehicle parked at a residence in the 42000 block of Fourth Street in Knights Landing. The dog was missing the head and the body had been eviscerated.
Upon investigating today’s incident, deputies learned from the resident that approximately two weeks ago, unknown person(s) left the decapitated head of a terrier inside a boat at the same residence. The residents did not report that incident to the Sheriff’s office until today. Neither the head or the body located today were from the same dog.
