Two Davisites Robbed at Gunpoint on 2nd & A Streets Sunday Night

One of the suspects produced a silver handgun and demanded they turn over their property.

Two Davis residents were held up at gunpoint Sunday night while walking west on 2nd Street, near A Street.

Two men stopped them, and one of them produced a silver handgun and demanded they turn over their property, according to police. They elaborated with the following statement Monday: 

Both residents complied and gave the robbers cell phones, a wallet, and a duffel bag. The suspects then walked eastbound on 2nd St. The two victims fled westbound on 2nd St. and called police. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects.

The first suspect is described as an African American male, approximately 6'2" tall, 180 pounds, 20-23 years old and had about a one inch long afro style haircut. This suspect was last seen wearing a long sleeve black and white striped shirt and blue jeans.

The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5'10" tall, 180 pounds, 20-23 years old. This suspect was last seen wearing a blue baseball style hat, gray hoodie style sweatshirt and blue jeans
