Upcoming 'World's Largest Golf Outing' Benefits Wounded Warrior Project
There's still time to join this August event, and three golf courses in the region are participating.

The World’s Largest Golf Outing (WLGO) is coming to a golf course near you. This annual event entitles you to a fun round of golf, a chance for prizes and other freebies, and most important, the opportunity to participate in a very worthwhile fundraising effort supporting the event’s charitable partner, Wounded Warrior Project (WWP).
WLGO was created in 2011 as way to play golf and give back, with one single golf event held on the same day across the country, attempting to break the Guinness Book of World Records, but most importantly to raise money for the charitable cause. Since the first event in 2011, WLGO events and donations to WWP have passed $2 million.

Dates for WLGO are scheduled in early August but vary from state to state depending on course availability. The majority of events across the country will be held on Monday August 3, but some will be played on Saturday August 1 and Sunday August 2.
All entry fees will include a $10 donation to WWP. In case you don’t golf, you can also help by volunteering at a local event, or if you can’t get to the golf course on the specified date, you can also DONATE to the cause.
