WANTED: Eric Paul Rodriguez, 34, is believed to be responsible for one of five recent armed robberies in the city, according to Davis police

DAVIS, CA — The Davis Police Department is seeking the public's help in tracking down a man believed to be responsible for at least one of five recent robberies at gunpoint in the city. Eric Paul Rodriguez, 34, is wanted in connection with an armed robbery Oct. 5, Davis police said in a news release Friday.
Police believe that after robbing a pedestrian at gunpoint on Sycamore Lane at Villanova Drive, Rodriguez left the scene in a silver coupe. Another person was inside the car Rodriguez got into, police said.
"A vehicle matching that description was stopped nearby and the driver, Rodriguez, fled before he could be arrested," police said. "The gun used in the robbery was recovered along with the vehicle that was abandoned a few blocks away."
