San Francisco Giants Advance to Third World Series in Five Years.

The San Francisco Giants have advanced to the World Series following a 6-3 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals capped off by a three-run game-winning home run in the ninth inning by left fielder Travis Ishikawa.

The Giants won the National League Championship Series 4-games-to-1 and will face the Kansas City Royals in the World Series, San Francisco’s third in five years. The Giants previously won the title in 2010 and 2012.
