Woodland Student Arrested For Bringing Knife & BB Gun to School
There was a rumor that the suspect had threatened to harm another student.

A 17-year-old Woodland student was arrested Friday for bringing a knife and a BB gun to school. The Yolo County Sheriff's Office shared the following details:Â
A deputy responded to Woodland Polytechnic Academy after school administrators searched the 17 year old male students backpack and located a 3 inch folding knife and a spring activated BB gun.

An administrator told the deputy that yesterday they learned of a rumor that the suspect had threatened to harm another student. Today the school administration searched the suspects backpack and located the weapons, then called the Sheriff’s office.
The juvenile was arrested for bringing a weapon onto to school grounds per Penal Code section 626.10 and was taken to the Yolo County Juvenile Hall.
