$31M Dublin High Engineering, Science Building Unveiled
Take a virtual tour of the 47,000-square-foot building, home to 15 classrooms and more to serve high school students in Dublin.
DUBLIN, CA — Another 15 engineering and science classrooms opened to Dublin High School students this spring with the opening of a new, $31.5 million building.
The Dublin Unified School District held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the 47,000-square-foot building Thursday morning — a year-and-a-half after ground was first broken at the site.
The building also includes space for academic support, a weight room, break-out spaces and a shop for maintenance and operations staff, according to the district.

Funding from measures C and E covered the cost of the building, according to DUSD.
The district is in the midst of a significant capital improvement program to modernize existing buildings and build new ones, including the new Emerald High School. Cost estimations have balloned in recent months due to apparent miscalculations, in part, and the district is working on an updated school facilities plan.
