Alameda County Launches 'Know Your Zone' Evacuation Preparedness Campaign

With California's fire season already in full swing, Alameda County has launched the "Know Your Zone" campaign, in partnership with the emergency evacuation platform, Zonehaven. Zonehaven works in conjunction with AC Alert during disasters to help residents identify their evacuation zone on a map, stay up-to-date on their evacuation status, and follow incident progress. The platform also has the ability to model traffic and fire spread scenarios, and provide real-time weather, traffic, and shelter information.

The City of Dublin has 46 separate evacuation zones. To identify your evacuation zone, visit www.community.zonehaven.com and type in your home address. Residents should also sign up for AC Alert at www.acalert.org.
